The majority of Eddie is written in a functional programming language called Erlang. This language was developed by Ericsson and an open source project has been undertaken to make Erlang available (http://www.erlang.org). Erlang/OTP R7B (5.0.2.4) was released April 2001 and Eddie-1.5.1 (and above) rely on this release. Here are some Erlang packages: Erlang/OTP R6B 4.9.1 was released late last year and Eddie-1.4.x series (and above) rely on this release. Here are some Erlang packages: Note: these both contain the Mnesia-3.8.5 update from the Erlang homepage, also the Solaris package contains an important bugfix which never appeared on the Erlang homepage for 4.9.1. |
