A new open source version of Erlang/OTP has been released (download: http://www.erlang.org/download.html ). Lots of improvements. We will be releasing one more version of Eddie for previous version of Erlang (47.4.1); shortly after that we will release a version updated for the new open source release.

The Eddie Core Team is proud to release the source to version 1.3.0 of Eddie. This release provides massive performance in the Intelligent HTTP Gateway. Eddie is no longer limited by a single processes file descriptor limits in accepting connections. Fixed a serious IP migration bug added in 1.2.0. Starting Eddie is now much easier. Other minor bug fixes.

This release incorporates provides the ability to run the load information servers for the Eddie Enhanced DNS without the Intelligent HTTP Gateway. This enables you to run the Eddie Enhanced DNS without the rest of Eddie; but still provide load balancing over IP services.
